Morgan Hunt commits to the University of North Dakota!

Morgan Hunt has accepted a scholarship to play Division One volleyball at the University of North Dakota!  She is a 6’3 Middle Blocker that is a member of the Wisconsin Juniors 17-1’s team!  She attends Racine Park High School in Racine, Wisconsin.  She has been a member of the Wisconsin Juniors program since she was 13 years old!

When asked, what separated North Dakota from other schools?  Morgan answered, “UND is a great school for me to earn my degree. Their volleyball program competes at a high level, the facilities are amazing, and their fan base is unbelievable. The people of Grand Forks, ND really support the university’s athletics. I also connected instantly with the coaching staff and future teammates. I know it’s going to be cold, but I know I’ll get over it!”

In her own words, she described her commitment to North Dakota with, “I am beyond excited. Playing D1 volleyball has been my goal for so long. All my years of hard work and sacrifice have paid off. I have such a feeling of achievement. It’s kind of bitter sweet though. For as happy as I am to have found a home to play college ball, it’s sad to think my years at Wisconsin Juniors are coming to an end. The end of one journey is the beginning to another.”

Morgan was asked, how Wisconsin Juniors helped her with her recruitment and how WJV helped prepare her to play Division One volleyball?  Her response was, “Wisconsin Juniors has assigned me an amazing recruiting director, Scott Marita, who has helped me with every step and every question along the way.  I’ve always been given great advice when needed.  Wisconsin Juniors has taught me the skills I need to succeed on the court and have given me the platform needed to be seen by college coaches.”

Finally, Morgan wanted to thank many people, “I would like to thank my mom and dad for sacrificing so much for me. I’d also like to thank any teammate I’ve ever had. In one way or another, they have made me who I am today on and off the court.”

Congratulations Morgan Hunt!  Keep up the great work!
